FA Cup tip

For us the FA Cup still retains its magic despite critics claiming the cup is devalued by managers playing weakened teams and sides ‘concentrating on the league.’ It’s still a massive draw and grounds up and down the country will packed this weekend, many lower league sides will be looking to turn over their more illustrious opponents. We’ve put together an FA Cup tip, and will do so for every round of the competition all the way to Wembley in May.

FA Cup tip – Six-fold accumulator

4th round weekend just has to be one of the highlights of the football, even the sporting calendar.fa cup tip - slip upDavid meeting Goliath and banana skins to be negotiated by the big boys. As such we had to get involved and have come up with an intriguing 6 fold accumulator which we are really rather pleased with. As such we are sharing it with you as our FA Cup tip.

Generally speaking we have gone with the form with this FA Cup tip. Yet with a return of £571.20 for a £10 stake we could well be laughing all the way to the bank. We have gone for six wins – 4 aways and 2 homes, and all the games are 15.00 kick offs on Saturday 30th January. Here is our FA Cup tip six-fold:

Portsmouth v Bournemouth (Bournemouth to win)

Aston Villa v Man City (Man City to win)

Arsenal v Burnley (Arsenal to win)

Shrewsbury v Sheffield Wednesday (Sheffield Wednesday to win)

Reading v Walsall (Reading to win)

Nottingham Forest v Watford (Watford to win)

Nothing outlandish but a really decent return we think.

Why have we gone with BetVictor?

Bet Victor free bet

We have decided to go with Bet Victor for our FA Cup tip. We are big fans of BetVictor. When it comes to the football they are the bookie who generally offer the best odds – we have reviewed their site here.

We have actually gone with them because we like a bit of insurance with our accas. Simply put, if one leg of this acca lets us down we get our money back. You see, we realise that placing a bet is a risk. We still like to have some control though. Looking at our selection we can make a strong case for all of the teams that we have backed. On 3rd round weekend in particular things don’t always go to plan and we think that the leeway acca insurance gives us makes us more confident in placing our bet.

To be eligible of course you need to be a BetVictor customer. If you’re not already then click on the link below to sign up for free. Once signed up you’ll also be able to take advantage for their welcome offer, giving you up to £50 free!
