You maybe wondering what Draw no bet involves and what exactly it means? Many of the top bookmakers have Draw no bet as an option for customers to place bets on teams and if the end result after 90 minutes is a draw then the bet is void.
You maybe thinking this is a great way of adding a little extra insurance or control over your bets and it is however, you should realise that because the bet becomes void the odds offered will be lower than if betting on other outright / outcome markets.
An example of how this works is that a customer places a £5 bet on Chelsea to beat Sunderland and the game ends 1-1. The bookmaker returns the £5 stake to the customer. If Chelsea had won, as per the customers bet, they would win in accordance with Chelsea’s odds at the time of the bet being placed. If Sunderland had won, then the customer would have lost the bet.
